1. By way of this petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.213/2014
registered at Police Station Sarita Vihar, Delhi, for the offences
punishable under Sections 498A/406/506/34 IPC and the consequential
proceedings emanating therefrom against them.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that
the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No.2,
namely, Ms.Meena, consequent upon certain matrimonial and domestic
disputes having arisen between her and petitioner No.2 – Davender. The
case is at the initial stage of investigation and charge sheet has not been
filed. Meanwhile, the good senses prevailed and respondent No.2

amicably settled the disputes with petitioners before Delhi Mediation
Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi vide settlement/agreement dated
07.07.2015 and started living with petitioner No.2 as his wife. As per the
said settlement, the payment of agreed amount has been made by
petitioner No.1 to respondent No.2 and FDR in the name of children has
also been handed over to her.
