Raj Kundra held guilty by the Mudgal Panel

Raj Kundra, the co – owner of Rajasthan Royals, has been held guilty of betting and violation of the IPL anti – corruption code by the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel.

While releasing the final report, the panel stated in its report that: “Mr. Raj Kundra was in touch with bookies about betting. Materials on record indicate that he was placing bets. These infractions violated the BCCI/IPL anti – corruption code.”

On 28th March, 2014, N. Srinivasan has stepped down as BCCI President and replaced by Sunil Gavaskar to conduct IPL-14 matches.
