To encourage SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students to continue their studies at college level by providing them scholarships so as to reduce financial burden on their parents
Eligibility Criteria
SC/ST/OBC/Minority students are eligible who will:
- obtain 60% or more marks in previous examination & get admission in recognized college/professional/technical institutions
- There shall be no limit for the income of the applicant/parents/guardians for grant of scholarship in respect of SC/ST students
- However, family income limit of Rs. 1 lakh per annum is applicable for the OBC/ Minority communities
How to Apply?
Format of application form, consolidated statement (to be filled by Head of College/Institution concerned), Self Declaration of Family Income (for OBC/Min, only) & Electronic Clearing Service Proforma (in r/0 Student & College/ Institution concerned) may be downloaded from the Department’s website (http://www.delhi.gov.in/wps/wcm/connect/doit_welfare/Welfare/Home/Scholarship+Schemes+%282012-13%29/)
Completed Applications must be forwarded by Heads of Colleges/Institutions to Joint Director (Scholarship), Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, Vikas Bhawan, B-Block, I.P. Estate, New Delhi
