Infosys imposed defamation notices on three newspapers

Infosys, a leading IT company, has served three leading national newspapers – The Times of India, The Economic Times and The Financial Express – with defamation notices on 9.05.2014.

In the notices served, Infosys has claimed damages of Rs. 2,000 crore for “loss and reputation and goodwill circulation of defamatory articles”.

The three newspapers have been given 24 hours to remove such articles from their websites and other media, and issue an unconditional apology for the same.
