2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State
submitted that the respondent No.2, present in the Court has been
identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question
by Sukhpal, East district, Parole Officer in Delhi High Court.

3. The factual matrix of the present case is that the marriage
between Manoj and the respondent no.2 was solemnized on
30.09.1998. The parents-in-law of the complainant took all her
jewellery saying that the jewellery is not safe in the house. The
mother-in-law of the complainant also took away Rs. 21.300/- given to
the complainant in shagun on the pretext of F.D. The parents-in-law,
sister-in-law and the husband of the complainant always used to abuse
her and beat her. They even gave beatings to the complainant on
20.07.1999, when she was pregnant. The husband of the complainant
used to threaten her that is she does not give him Rs. 2 lacs then he
will kill her daughter. On 07.04.2003, the complainant gave birth to a
son and all the delivery expenses were borne by her parents. On
02.11.2003, the husband of the complainant beat her mercilessly under
the influence of alcohol and tried to burn her. Due to fear the
complainant along with her child came to her parental home.
