1. Vide the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.976/2015
registered at Police Station Amar Colony, New Delhi for the offences
punishable under Sections 323/341/308/34 of the IPC and the
consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against them.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that
the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No.2,
Gagan Arora initially for the offences punishable under Sections
323/341/34 of the IPC. Thereafter, on receipt of MLC Section 308 of the
IPC is also added. The matter is at the initial stage of investigation.
Meanwhile, the respondent No.2 has amicably settled their disputes with
the petitioners vide memorandum of understanding dated 02.01.2016.
Both the petitioners have compensated the respondent No.2 with a sum of
Rs.20,000/- each, thus, latter does not wish to pursue the matter against
the petitioners.
