1. This appeal by Chandrakant Jha impugns judgment dated 24th January, 2013
convicting him for murder of an unknown person, and for the offence under
Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC, for short) in the charge
sheet arising out of FIR No.279/2007 dated 18th May, 2007 registered at
police station Hari Nagar. By the impugned order on sentence dated 4th
February, 2013, Chandrakant Jha has been sentenced to imprisonment for
life-till the rest of his life, fine of Rs.10,000/- and in default, to undergo
simple imprisonment for one month for the offence under Section 302 IPC;
and to rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and fine of Rs.10,000/-
and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month
under Section 201 IPC.
